For diagnosing problems ranging from ADHD (ADD) to depression and marital problems.
Sometimes problems are complicated and confusing, compounded, certainly overwhelming, and always need a quick resolution. Moreover, many family members may have a different take on exactly what the problem is. Psychological assessment and testing is generally helpful in quickly defining and clarifying exactly what the clinical picture/problem is. If testing is not done, it may take much longer period of counseling to determine the core problem(s). Once a problem diagnosis has been made, then a treatment plan can be formulated to resolve it. Psychological testing/assessment can be done in the following general areas: adult symptoms, children and teen problems, marital problems, and family problems. Testing to evaluate personality and determine job interests is also offered.
